Curtis Edmonds

Curtis D. Edmonds is an attorney with a specialty in disability law. He previously served as a managing attorney at Disability Rights New Jersey, a federally-funded non-profit agency in Trenton. He also served as the director of the designated state program for New Jersey under the federal Assistive Technology Act.

Curtis has a bachelor's degree from Baylor University and a law degree from the University of Texas, and has been admitted to the Texas, Georgia, and New Jersey bars. He has authored several law review articles on disability law with respect to transportation, employment, and health care. He has also authored research articles regarding the accessible use of assistive technology in distance education.

He previously worked on website accessibility and information technology issues for the Center for Assistive Technology and Environmental Access at Georgia Tech in Atlanta. He assisted in the development of the Georgia Research in Accessible Distance Education (GRADE) project, and developed several accessible teaching modules for distance educators. He has also served on the Texas staffs of Senator Phil Gramm, Governor George W. Bush and Governor Rick Perry.
