If you're an Excel user who does anything more than the "real basics" then it's likely that you're familiar with some of Excel's Worksheet Functions (SUM, COUNT, IF, VLOOKUP, and so on)

But Excel today is not the Excel of yesterday and since 2020 Microsoft has added nearly 30 new functions to the 365 version of Excel.
These functions will simplify the way that you build formulas and simplify the way you build and work with Excel files and consequently are one of the relatively new must-know game-changing features.

With these functions, you can extract unique values, sort and filter data, look up multiple values, build dynamic lists that instantly update when new data is added to the source, and much much more!

  • The FILTER Function
  • The SEQUENCE Function
  • The SORT and SORTBY Functions
  • The CHOOSECOLS and CHOOSEROWS Functions
  • New Text Functions – TEXSPLIT, TEXTBEFORE and TEXTAFTER
  • The VSTACK Function

This training is categorized as intermediate. It is aimed at users who want to learn about the new Functions in Excel.

IMPORTANT: These new functions are only available to Microsoft 365 subscribers (and Excel 2021 users).

Mike is a Fellow of The Learning and Performance Institute and has worked with and for a large number of global and UK-based companies and organizations across a diverse range of sectors. In addition to training, he designs and develops Microsoft Office-based solutions that automate key business tasks and processes.
