Overview
Pivot Tables are one of the strongest data analysis and business intelligence tools in Excel. Whether you're building a dashboard, analyzing data in depth or summarizing a personal project, this Excel Pivot Tables training shows how to do it with a few clicks and no complex formulas.
In this 60-minute session you'll learn how to structure raw data correctly, create a Pivot Table, summarize data as totals, counts and percentages, sort results and format reports so they are easy to read. You'll also turn a Pivot Table into a chart and refresh it when the source data changes.
Pivot Tables can seem intimidating, but you may be surprised how quickly they help you spot trends and answer key business questions.
Why attend: From large enterprises to startups and small businesses, people rely on Pivot Tables to summarize and make sense of their data. Knowing how to build them is a must-have skill for anyone who uses Excel to produce reports quickly. You don't need to be an Excel expert: if you can create basic worksheets, copy and paste, and format cells, you can follow along. The session uses the latest Excel for Windows, though much of it works in earlier versions.
